Before commissioning, it must be verified that installation, configuration, and the intended user access have been fully set up.
The following items should be checked in particular:
Hardware Installed
- alea Dock(s) are installed at the intended locations and connected to the power supply.
- Cables are routed safely.
- Where applicable, alea Routers or repeaters are installed and operational.
alea Cockpit Configured
- Login to the alea Cockpit is possible.
- Care recipients are assigned to the intended rooms, areas, or units.
- Hardware components (Dock/Clip) are assigned to the respective care recipients and are visible within the alea Cockpit.
Functional Check (Status Indicators)
- After insertion of the Clip, the Dock and Clip display the expected operating status according to the LED and status indicators.
- The care recipient is displayed as connected or active within the alea App.
- In the event of issues, the corresponding status indicators or notifications are displayed according to the troubleshooting instructions.
End User Access
- End user accounts have been created and login to the alea App is possible.
- Notification settings and user roles have been configured according to the operator configuration.
Consumables / External Components
- Compatible incontinence products and, where applicable, Sensor Strips are available and have been selected in accordance with the requirements of these Instructions for Use.
Optional (Training / User Instruction)
- Intended users have been instructed in operation and relevant safety information according to the requirements of the operator or care facility.
