Intended Use of Individual Components

alea Clip

The alea Clip is intended for the acquisition and transmission of status information from approved sensor strips and compatible incontinence products.

It is intended to:

  • Capture status data from the incontinence product

  • Transmit these data to the alea Dock

  • Trigger defined events within the intended care context

The Clip is intended exclusively for use with approved sensor strips, compatible incontinence products, and the alea system.

alea Dock

The alea Dock serves as the designated docking and transmission station of the system.

It is intended for:

  • Docking and charging of the alea Clip

  • Forwarding captured status data

  • Transferring data to the designated network components

  • Ensuring continuous system communication

The Dock is part of the stationary system infrastructure within the intended care environment.

The alea Router supports network communication within the intended alea system.

It is intended for:

  • Forwarding data from docking stations

  • Connecting to the designated backend infrastructure

  • Ensuring data transfer within the local care environment

  • Supporting the stationary operation of multiple system components

The Router is intended exclusively for use within the designated system architecture.

The alea Cloud is part of the system's designated backend and data processing infrastructure.

It is intended for:

  • Processing incoming status data

  • Providing system-relevant information

  • Forwarding information to the alea App and alea Cockpit

  • Managing defined user and system functions

The Cloud serves as the central data processing environment within the intended alea system.

alea App

The alea App is the mobile user interface of the system.

It is intended for:

  • Displaying status information

  • Providing prioritized notifications and alerts

  • Mobile use by authorized care personnel

  • Supporting care-related workflows

  • Mobile interaction with designated system functions

The App is intended for use on approved mobile devices.
